Senior Tax Accountant (4-5 years of experience)

Remus Haste & Associates, CPAs is a boutique CPA firm serving high net worth clients, local businesses and their families providing solutions to complex problems for over 30 years.
We are looking to add to our senior professional staff as well as entry level CPA candidate positions.
The candidates must hold and accounting degree, BS, MS, MA or EA.
Responsibilities Include: Review and prepare complex individual, corporate, partnership and fiduciary tax returns.
Interface and manage client engagements.
Review compiled financial statements.
Assist with tax authorities' examinations, including responses to notices and requests for information.
Tax planning and research.
Senior Level Qualifications: CPA.
with a minimum 5 years tax and public accounting experience.
Excellent communication skills.
Strong tax review and preparation skills.
Familiarity with Lacerte or similar tax software.
Good computer skills, including QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Programs.
Proficient in tax research and planning.
Knowledge of RIA Checkpoint, PPC helpful.
Motivated self-starter able to handle a wide array of responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Able to meet engagement deadlines with complete and accurate product.
Entry Level Qualifications: BS in Accounting and MA and be a CPA exam candidate.
Passing CPA exam or parts of exam a plus.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.
