Job Description:
The United States Marine Corps (USMC) Force-on-Force Training Systems-Next (FoFTS-Next) program will provide the training tools needed to prepare Marines for any contingency, anywhere.
Saab, Inc has an exciting opportunity for a lead System Analyst to provide integral support to the FoFTS-Next program.
The Lead System Analyst provides detailed analysis during the conduct of a USMC Training event utilizing the Marine Corps Tactical Instrumentation System (MCTIS) to help create the After-Action Review (AAR) products.
The Lead System Analyst mans the Exercise Control (ExCon) workstations during exercises and contributes to the various AAR products.
This position also advises training units on the capabilities of the MCTIS equipment and coordinates with the training unit before and during the exercise to ensure they are aware of the system’s capabilities.

Provide analysis and content for AAR support throughout the exercise as detailed by the Operations Officer.
This may be achieved through deployment as company teams or as an individual in the SLTE ExCon team.
Assist the exercise leadership in preparation of the ROSTER / Order of Battle.
During a MCCRE or SLTE in support of a unit at your home station, leads the team of MCTIS System Analysts in the preparation of the ROSTER / Order of Battle.
During a MCCRE or SLTE, lead the development of the AAR and ‘Take Home” package.
Operate the full desktop WinEXCON system to provide AAR support.
Executes Area Weapon Effect Simulation (AWES) plans and orders received.
Proposes dynamic scenario adaptations based on training guidance provided by the Operations Officer and Unit Commander.
Monitors progress of the exercise to ensure capture of key data points to support the DAR/AAR.
Monitors live field video and annotate and edit for DAR/AAR use.
Communicates with System Training Advisors and uniformed Observer/Controllers during the conduct of the exercise.
Analyses and evaluates results; compare with scheme of maneuver submitted by unit commanders.
Generates reports and statistics, with information processed from actual data based on training priorities discussed during pre-training coordination conducted with the unit commander.
Prepares material for DAR and AAR.
Participates in the execution of DAR/AAR.
Assists with the production of the ‘Take Home Pack’.
Assist with any data exploitation tasks, as required.
Monitors AAR creation and output from MCTIS System Analysts, identifying trends to enhance product delivery.
When required, identify MCTIS System Analyst personnel to surge to other locations in support of MCCRE, SLTE, MWX exercises.
Other Assists with the erection and maintenance of the communication system if required.
Assist with logistical resupply if required.
Assists with both the Issue and Receipt phases.
Assists any other CROW teams on the exercise, as required.
Supports any Saab marketing activity as required.
Assists with any continuation/cross training, as required.
Provides input for performance assessment of MCTIS System Analyst team members, as required.
Operates the Manpack system to provide AAR support.
Delivers a capability brief / ARB for the Marines prior to the exercise, as required.
Attends training in the US or overseas, as required.
When required, surge to other locations in support of MCTIS exercises, whether that be to support Non-Homesite Installation Training or support of the conduct of an SLTE or MWX at another USMC installation.
Compensation Range: $83,400-$104,300 The compensation range provided is a general guideline.
