Job Requirements
Plan and direct the daily operations for the Indio maintenance crew.
3-5 years of management experience
In partnership with Safety and Environmental staff, continue to develop, promote, and maintain high levels of performance throughout the operation to ensure compliance.
Direct production efforts in the most cost-efficient manner and maximize the utilization of equipment.
Proactively troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and maximum availability.
Hands on repair of plant equipment, knowledge of safety requirements required operating a rock and sand mining operation.
Good communication skills working with others, organizing other mine and quarry personnel to perform tasks.
Take lead of existing maintenance repair crew to complete required daily duties.
Good written skills while performing needed plant reports, ordering materials, and repair logs.
Must be able to use hand tools required for all plant maintenance, repair, and new installations.
Identify opportunities, develop strategies, and execute the plan for operational improvement.
Experience and knowledge of modern maintenance technology and methods.
Sound knowledge of Part 46 MSHA safety training/OSHA regulations, environmental regulations as they apply within mining and processing operations.
Working Conditions
Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors
Must wear protective equipment while at the location
Capable to work extended hours as needed

Requires stationary position, traverse, move, transport, and the ability to significant degree to operate, activate, use, prepare, inspect, place, detect, or position.
Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently
Job involves standing and walking most of the time, but also involves sitting for brief periods of time.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen, to communicate with employees/visitors.
