Well Established Finished Carpentry Company is seeking an Experienced Door Trim Installer for Custom and Multi-Family production.

WORK CONTEXT:
• Obligates a minimum of 8 hours every day in the field with plausible overtime and weekend work as required
• Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Verify trueness of structure, using plumb bob and level.
• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge.
• Install structures or fixtures, such as doors, windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools.
• Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
• Study specifications in blueprints, sketches, or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required.
• Shape or cut materials to specified measurements, using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
• Remove damaged or defective parts or sections of structures and repair or replace, using hand tools.
• Build or repair, doors, frameworks using woodworking machines, carpenter's hand tools, or power tools.
• Maintain records, document actions, and present written progress reports.
• Arrange for subcontractors to deal with special areas
• Complete assigned tasks in a timely manner
• Effectively deal with the public in a courteous and respectful manner.
• Install all door hardware, towel bars, toilet paper holders, grab bars, thresholds, & door bottoms.
• Install shelf & pole, stool & apron, cap & apron, & bypass doors & track.
• Install Exterior wood and hollow metal frames.
• May be exposed to unpleasant sights and smells.
• Physically strenuous and demanding job
• Lifting, pulling and managing heavy equipment and objects.
• Will have to work in all weather, and must be prepared for both extreme heat and cold.
• Other duties as assigned
Experience and Qualifications and Requirements:
Field Installers must have own tools for use at job sites and know how to safely operate all tools in their arsenal.
Knowledge and experience with finish carpentry and hardware materials including
Minimum of 1 year of experience in finish carpentry and hardware experience.
Must hold a valid California driver's license and drive a personal truck or vehicle
Ability to read and understand construction drawings in English
Ability to effectively communicate vocally and in writing in English
Ability to work safely at jobsites
Ability to pass pre-employment drug test
Benefit options: Medical, Dental and Vision after 60 days.
Hours Monday through Friday between 7:00AM and 3:30PM.
