SUMMARY:
We are looking to expand our existing outside Sales team with continued focus on our current clientele while increasing job awards and establishing new relationships with prospective clientele.
Qualified individual should increase sales by being customer oriented, assertive, goal oriented and well organized.
Relationship skills and knowledge of the paving industry is critical to this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support all aspects of subcontractor and supplier estimating and bidding processes
Develop and maintain effective relationships with clientele
Meet with existing and prospective clientele in person; perform job walks and field measurements
Ensure client expectations are met through proactive resolution strategies
Increase sales volume for company's services
Work closely with management/ Superintendent
Effectively and efficiently reach sales goals
Create and submit accurate bids and proposals according to customers' needs as well as bid specifications
Oversee awarded project from beginning to end
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures
QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, the right candidate must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily while meeting the requirements below:
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
MUST HAVE: Minimum 5 years industry Sales experience
3+ years of experience/ training in aggregates, asphalt, sealcoat; construction or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE/ SKILL:
Knowledgeable in all aspects of paving, sealcoat and concrete, no exceptions
Highly developed oral, verbal, and written communication skills and an ability to work closely with owners, management, and crew
Demonstrate effective skills in dealing with employees and crew at all levels
Ability to be a self starter and self motivator, established clientele is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft programs and google earth; Pavement Soft experience is a plus
Ability to effectively work with customers, subcontractors and material suppliers
Ability to provide and understand detailed information pertaining to job; such as measurements, materials and equipment
Identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities
**Must be within a reasonable driving distance to Temecula, CA; as we service all surrounding areas**
