We're seeking motivated and skilled Commercial & Industrial Apprentice Electricians to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects.
As an Apprentice Electrician, you will work closely with our Electricians and project teams to contribute to the successful execution of electrical installations and maintenance.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
*Installation and Maintenance:* Assist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of commercial and Industrial electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and client requirements.
*Troubleshooting:* Troubleshoot electrical AC and DC circuits and apply basic mechanical principles to identify and resolve issues.
*Tool Utilization:* Utilize industry-related hand tools and power tools under the supervision of Electricians.
*Wiring and Cabling:* Assist in measuring, cutting, bending, threading, and installing wires, electrical cable systems, conduit systems, and other wire raceway systems.
*Equipment Assistance:* Support Electricians in wiring and cabling within control centers, distribution boxes, transformers, switchgear, receptacles, switches, etc.
*Splicing and Terminating:* Collaborate with Electricians to splice and terminate wires at junction points.
*Material Management:* Clean, gather, and transport materials to electricians on the construction site, ensuring an organized and efficient workflow.
*Communication:* Communicate effectively with Foremen and crew members to ensure coordination and meet productivity objectives.
*Professionalism:* Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism and courtesy when interacting with colleagues, customers, and vendors.
*Safety Compliance:* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures to maintain a secure working environment.
*Skills and Experience:*
* Must have a valid Electrician Trainee Card.
* Currently enrolled or working on enrollment in an approved Apprentice program.
* Knowledge of electrical theory, basic circuits, branch circuits, and specialty systems.
* Familiarity with magnetic induction, three-phase transformers, conductors, and wiring methods.
* Ability to read and understand electrical single-line blueprints.
* Basic knowledge of tools and equipment and how to safely use them.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.
00 - $35.
00 per hour
