*Summary*
Performs the duties of a welder, GMAW, and SMAW who will maintain the fleet and facilities.
Welds metal components together, fabricate or repair heavy equipment, vehicle repairs, ground engaging equipment, trailers and facilities repairs by performing the following duties.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities*
* Welds metal parts together GMAW, SMAW
* Performs related tasks such as air arc, plasma cutting
* Repairs broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and material buildup
* Performs welding repairs on various types of heavy equipment
* Perform maintenance repairs on tractors, trucks, trailers, rental equipment and other projects
* Inspects equipment for damage and communicates any needed repairs with Shop Manager
* Maintains records on all buckets, compaction wheels, and wheel maintenance
* Operates forklift
* Work hours – Monday – Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm
* OT and Saturday work likely
* Performs other related duties as required and assigned

*Education and/or Experience*
Minimum of 3 years performing welding tasks on heavy equipment.
*Pay and Benefits*
$27.
00 - $32.
00 depending on experience and skill level
