Arrowhead Regional Medical Center is looking for an Epic Project Manager - RN to join the Epic team.
The Epic Project Manager - RN is a licensed Registered Nurse responsible for a large teams of analysts, clinical analysts, and support staff who develop and deploy new processes, tools and capabilities in the installation and maintenance of Epic Systems Corporation (Epic) Electronic Health Records (EHR) to meet customer business needs with a primary focus on clinical informatics.
This position will plan, schedule, supervise activities of teams, assign and review work, provide guidance and direction, train staff, prepare and sign work performance evaluations, and manage disciplinary actions.

ARROWHEAD REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER Located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission.
The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center.
Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services.
ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Training: Applicants must be able to sit in a training room for up to eight (8) hours per day.
License: A valid California Class C driver license and proof of automobile liability insurance is required at time of hire.
Certification: Applicants will be required to pass an Epic Certification.
The incumbent will have 3 attempts or 90 days from the date of hire to obtain certification.
The Clinical Informatics Department in collaboration with the Epic Implementation Executive Team will reserve its right to extend beyond 90 days if the core training class schedule falls outside the 90-day hiring period.
If certification is not obtained after 3 attempts or by 90 days of hire or the dedicated extended time allowance, the incumbent's employment will be terminated.
Travel: Applicant may need to travel to Wisconsin by airplane for training on an as needed basis.
Travel expenses will be paid for by San Bernardino County.
Vaccination Requirement: Per the December 24, 2021 updated CA State Public Health Officer Order, all workers who provide services or work in facilities described in subdivision (a) of the order, including clinics and doctor offices, must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.
In addition, CDPH Public Health Officer Orders updated on February 22, 2022 requires all workers in health care settings currently eligible for boosters, who provide services or work in the impacted facilities must be “fully vaccinated and boosted” for COVID-19 by March 1, 2022.
Workers may be exempt from the vaccination requirements under section (1).

3 Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Vaccine Requirement for Healthcare Personnel (HCP).
Vaccination Exemptions: Upon hire, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination including the booster dose or request an exemption from the vaccination and booster requirements based on either religious belief or medical reasons.
Minimum Requirements Candidates must meet both the following Licensure and Experience requirements: License: Must possess and maintain Registered Nurse licensure with the State of California Board of Registered Nurses.

Substitution(s): One (1) year as a lead on an Electronic Health Record team may substitute for one (1) year of the required EHR experience.
An Epic Certification will substitute one (1) year of required EHR experience.
Desired Qualifications The ideal candidate will have fie (5) or more years of experience as a licensed register nurse working as an Epic Analyst with extensive experience with implementations in an acute care hospital setting.
