Under direction of the Codes and Standards Administrator l, the District Representative II (DR-ll) works as a lead inspector and assigned the most sensitive and complex field inspections and investigations.
The DR-II trains, mentors, and guides multiple DR-Is.
The incumbent is expected to schedule and conduct inspections relating to the enforcement of state and federal laws and regulations for assignments within a geographical area such as building construction industry, construction, sale, installation, occupancy of manufactured homes, commercial modular and recreational vehicles, and employee housing facilities for habitability, maintenance, use and occupancy, serving both the public and industry.
Spanish bilingual preferred.
Special Requirements: Most possess and maintain a valid California Driver’s License Must be able to climb roofs, crawls on hands and knees under homes, climb ladders, bend, stoop, and walk and drive for extended periods of time.
