We are currently seeking a motivated individual with at least 8 years of experience in the site work, grading and underground field.
*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES*
* Help manage job site operations/layout and execution
* Heavy Job timecards and verification of crew timecards
* Responsible for all day-to-day jobsite activities including maintaining a safe and productive work site, ensuring that the project is completed on schedule and within budget
* Communicate manpower, materials, consumables, and subcontractor needs to supervisor
* Ensure that work is being perform in accordance with the project schedule
* Ordering material and coordinating trucks for deliveries, if necessary
* Interprets plans and specifications
* Enforcement of mandated and company regulations to include; safety, environmental, labor laws, and emissions
*SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS*
* Previous work as a job site foreman
* Certifications in First Aid/CPR, Competent Person, OSHA 30
* 8 years of experience in construction (including grading and underground)
* Knowledge required for underground infrastructure work such as fire line, sanitary sewer line, manholes, storm drain install, and electrical communication conduits
* Very proficient in reading plans/grade stakes/setting grades
* Ability to read, speak, and write in English
* Willingness to travel
* Able to work outside, maneuver in difficult terrain, and overtime as needed
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
* Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
