Controller

Construction Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Duties will include: - Managing and supervising the accounting team - Preparing and analyzing financial statements - Conducting balance sheet reconciliations - Overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes - Performing general ledger reconciliations - Providing technical accounting guidance to the team - Ensuring compliance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and other relevant regulations - Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes - Collaborating with external auditors during the annual audit - Developing and implementing internal controls to safeguard company assets To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, including GAAP - Experience with financial software, such as Sage or similar systems - Proficiency in conducting balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations - Familiarity with technical accounting topics, such as revenue recognition or lease accounting - Ability to analyze financial data and prepare accurate reports - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills - Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams - Experience in construction industry is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $80,000.
