A fully qualified Service Technician will be responsible for performing start-up services, troubleshooting and repair activities on natural gas boilers such as Raypak, Lochinvar & Laars, as well as water heaters, pool heaters and tankless heaters in the field at customer sites.

In this role, you will be responsible for creating a positive relationship with customers as you professionally maintain, troubleshoot, repair and install their hot water heating equipment in the Riverside County area.

*Key Responsibilities:*
· Lead all on-site installation (starts up and upgrades), preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs and testing tasks
· Use test equipment, meters, and your own mechanical abilities to fire boilers and related equipment to ensure proper operation prior to and during installation and repair.
· Diagnose errors and technical problems to determine proper solutions and make appropriate recommendations to customers
· Complete documentation such as field service reports, start-up reports, warranty forms, technical recommendation forms, etc.
· Ensure truck inventory is aligned with the recommended parts list
· Promote upgrades in addition to parts sales and new heater sales
· Perform basic electrical and mechanical repairs on boilers and auxiliary equipment
· Develop and maintain good customer relationships and represent and promote Best Tec in a professional manner
· Monday to Friday schedule, working mainly between 8:30 A.

to 5:00 P.
M.
, with some evenings/weekends and overtime work as the on call schedule dictates
· Emergency standby call on a rotating basis

· Electro-Mechanical Troubleshooting Experience Required
· Travel to customer sites generally within Los Angeles and Orange Counties
· 2+ years of experience working as a service technician in a related industry
· Experience working on commercial/industrial boiler systems
· Ability to read and understand prints, drawings and technical bulletins
· Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record.
