We are looking for Construction Manager I to join our team! The construction manager shall perform all functions and responsibilities in administering the contracts they have been assigned.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsible to conduct reviews and verifications of construction schedules, inspections and material testing
Assists in the preparation and negotiations of construction change orders.
Responsible for safety compliance, review and approval of progress payments, review of quantities and daily reports.
Perform quality control and assurance to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelors in Civil Engineering
Past management experience on public and or private infrastructure projects in the transportation industry working for a contractor CMPM consulting firm or agency
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be capable of managing multiple projects including multiple disciplines and completing diverse project tasks
Ability to read and understand construction schedules including use of scheduling software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
Possess solid negotiation and interpersonal skills
A valid driver's license and compliance with our vehicle policy is required.
Candidate must be willing to travel locally to multiple projects when necessary.
Salary commensurate with experience and education.
