As a Landscaping Supervisor at Murrieta Hot Springs Resort, you will play a pivotal role in preserving and enhancing the natural beauty of our resort.
You will lead a team of groundskeepers and landscapers in maintaining our grounds, ensuring they remain lush, well-kept, and inviting for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervision and Leadership
Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of groundskeepers and landscapers.
Assign tasks and provide clear guidance to team members.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and teamwork among staff.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
Landscape Maintenance
Oversee the maintenance of resort grounds, including manicured lawns, gardens, and plant
Perform various landscaping tasks, such as mowing, pruning, planting, and
Monitor and maintain irrigation systems to ensure plant
Manage the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of outdoor areas, including walkways and courtyards.
Project Management
Plan and coordinate landscaping projects, including new installations and enhancements.
Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
Procure necessary resources, materials, and equipment.
Client and Guest Interaction
Engage with resort guests and ensure a positive and memorable experiences.
Address guest inquiries and concerns with courtesy and professionalism.
Collaborate with resort management to understand landscaping preferences and requirements.
Safety and Compliance
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a secure work environment.
Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry best practices for landscaping in a resort setting.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in landscaping and groundskeeping, with a minimum of 3 of supervisory experience.
Strong knowledge of horticulture, plant care, and landscaping techniques.
Ability to operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations related to landscaping in a resort setting.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Horticultural or landscaping certifications are a plus.
Working Conditions:
Schedule: Work schedule varies could be early and late depending on May include weekends.
Environment: Outdoor environment; fast paced work, constant interruptions; cool, warm and other varied weather exposure.
Physical requirements: Hearing and speaking to exchange information, make presentations and communicate over the telephone; seeing to read, prepare, and proofread documents and view computer monitors; sitting or standing for extended periods of time; dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment; kneeling, bending at the waist, and reaching overhead, above the shoulders and horizontally, to retrieve and store files and supplies; lifting light objects; ability to go to sites apart from primary office to conduct business.
Ability to obtain and maintain a California Non-commercial Class C Driver's License.
Frequently stand/walk, twist/bend/stoop/squat, grasp forcefully, shovel/rake/sweep, operate hand and/or foot controls, and/or lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 10-40 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance.
Occasionally perform seated work, kneel/crawl, climb (ladders, scaffolds, or other) reach/work above shoulders, perform work which requires light/fine grasping.
Required to wear an appropriate issued uniform.
Ability to work safely in all types of outside weather conditions.
May be required to work overtime, evenings, and weekends.
Required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
May be exposed to noise greater than 80db TWA.
May be exposed to allergens, pollens, dust and fertilizers, and pesticides.
Pay Range - $24 an hour
