Job Description:
The Local Construction Company is seeking a Concrete Project Manager to lead and manage concrete construction projects, with a focus on flat work and structural concrete.
Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Concrete Project Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful and timely completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead all phases of concrete construction projects, from initial planning to final completion.
- Demonstrate strong experience and knowledge of cement to effectively manage concrete-related aspects of projects.
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Field Operations Manager to ensure on-time, on-budget project execution.
- Supervise and guide the back-office team to ensure seamless operations and timely completion of administrative tasks.
- Review, interpret, and provide feedback on project plans, blueprints, and related documents.
- Ensure compliance with prevailing and non-prevailing wage requirements for all projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to guarantee smooth project execution.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA and California safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site and office inspections to ensure quality control and address issues promptly.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Senior Field Operations Manager on project status, challenges, and resolutions.
- Lead and participate in project meetings, training sessions, and workshops as required.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, techniques, and best practices in concrete construction.
