Quarry Foreman

Quarry Foreman needed in Indio Rock Sand And Gravel Mine -Must have minimum 4 years’ experience in mining environment.
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience as plant foreman or lead man .
-Hands on repair of plant equipment, knowledge of safety requirements required operating a rock and sand mining operation.
-Good communication skills working with others, organizing other mine and quarry personnel to perform tasks.
Take lead of existing maintenance repair crew to complete required daily duties.
-Good written skills while performing needed plant reports, ordering materials, and repair logs.
-Must be able to stick weld and cut metals proficiently.
Work at elevated heights when required.
-Must be able to use hand tools required for all plant maintenance, repair and new installations.
-Must be able to report and follow instructions from senior plant foreman in its entirety.
Familiar with different manufactures of process equipment used in the mining operation.
-Knowledge of Part 46 MSHA safety requirements.
-Must be able to pass background check, physical and drug test.
-Must have valid California Divers License.
