JOB SUMMARY:
Production workers produce and assemble products in factories.
They operate machinery, ensure production standards are met, finalize products, and prepare them for shipping.
• Following health and safety standards.
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
• Following production guidelines and specifications.
• Operating machinery and production line equipment.
• Monitoring the assembly line and removing faulty products.
• Working on the production line and meeting production targets.
• Reporting any issues to the supervisor on duty.
• Checks quality of produce before placing them in containers.
• Packs produce in containers, trays, or crates for storage or shipment.
• Weighs product & places labels on finished containers.
• Cuts, and trims produce such as asparagus, squash, broccoli, and Brussel sprouts, including but not limited to other produce items.
• Working in fast paced working environment.
• Follows all company guidelines regarding packing, SOP's, GMP's, Safety Policies and Procedures.
• Follows all Proper Protective Equipment (PPE's), including but not limited to slip resistant shoes.
• Miscellaneous duties and responsibilities can be applied at any time.
POSITION TYPE AND EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
• This is a full-time position.
• Requires mandatory overtime.
• Requires cross training which means you will work different positions based on business and department needs.
• Flexibility with start times.
o Start times may change due to the needs of the business.
• Weekends and holidays as needed.
• Regular attendance and punctuality are required.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Previous experience working in a factory is beneficial.

Education and/or Experience:
Less than high school education; or up to one month related:
• Mathematical Skills
o Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
o Ability to compute percentages.
• Computer Skills:
o Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Word and Outlook.
