*Program:* Maintenance / Facilities Management
*Hours:* 40 hours per week (flexible to meet program needs which may include mandatory overtime, evenings, weekends or holidays; available by pager to ensure coverage)

*Job Summary:*
This position is integral to maintaining the highest, safest facilities standards to provide the best services for all clients and staff.
This position oversees the hiring, training, and scheduling of housekeeping and maintenance team.
This position also works closely with outside vendors, purchasing of equipment, services, and products.
This position schedules and maintains the entire building and all equipment, including all kitchen appliances, walk-in freezer, and ice machine, dish machine, plumbing, gas, electrical equipment.
This position keeps accurate records and maintains good accounting of all purchased materials.
This position ensures all forms, permits and required licensing is current and supported.
This position reports all relevant data to the Vice President of Programs as needed for grants and accounting.
This position maintains a professional and current relationship with all relevant vendors and suppliers.
This position works with Vice President of Programs on the bidding process for potential grants and funding.
Must be able to respond to off-site maintenance calls.
*Essential Functions:* · Responsible for smooth functioning and organized operation of all facilities in compliance with OSHA and other regulatory agency standards and licensing.
· Supervises maintenance projects.
· Supervises and schedules routine maintenance and repair projects throughout the facility.
· Hires trains, evaluates, and builds a team of 5 to 10 staff integrating skill sets and using approved evaluation models.
· Follow all company, safety and security policies and procedures; report maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; and complete safety training and certifications.
· Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, must maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
· Speaks with others using clear and professional language.
Maintain professional demeanor and keep clear and confidential boundaries with all staff.
· Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
· Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
· Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
· Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.
· Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
· Assist with moving, lifting, carrying, and placing of objects weighing in excess of 100 pounds (e.
g.
, A/C unit, television, and dresser).
Move up and down stairs, service ramps, and/or ladder.
Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisor.
· Must be computer literate with a proficient working knowledge of programs, such as Word, and Excel along with other software which is used to carry out daily duties.
· Installation of computer hardware, phone lines, and CCTV security systems.
