PC/Network Technician

We @ WesTech MSP are seeking an IT support technician with computer and network installation/repair experience.
Your job service description will include performing onsite service and in-house bench work for our client's computers, servers, and network equipment.
Other services will be network builds from the cabling (sometimes), to the installation of new network equipment or migration from existing equipment.
We sometimes install or upgrade CCTV cameras and NVRs.
WesTech MSP does all things IT and we love it.
We are seeking another IT support team member who also loves IT and being a supporting role to our clients.
You will also "train" or "teach" clients and their users aspects of using their computers and programs and the appropriate usage of their IT infrastructure.
We perform managed IT services for clients and reactive support requests for our clients.
Job services can include simple computer diagnostics, peripheral setups, new computer system installs, network repair and build, and many other IT support services.

*Responsibilities* * Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers etc.
) * Check computer hardware (HDD, mouses, keyboards etc.
) to ensure functionality * Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications * Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimize performance * Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems * Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment * Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance without deterring others from completing their work * Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc.
) * Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule * Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders * Provide network cabling services *Skills* * *Controller Base Network experience required* * Proven experience as IT Technician or relevant position * Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills * Excellent communication ability * Outstanding organizational and time-management skills * Understanding of Windows computer systems and networks.
