) Start Date: ASAP *SUMMARY:: *Minimum (2) years’ experience with installation/maintenance of Closed Circuit Television systems, including but not limited to Pan/tilt mechanisms, IP and Analog cameras, digital recorders and matrix switching units.
Additional experience as an operator/observer in a related surveillance field, specializing in policy regulation and game protection, is requested.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:* * Install, maintain repair and provide recommendations of surveillance equipment * Maintain strict confidentiality in regards to surveillance equipment and other surveillance operations, controls and procedures * Responsible for maintaining surveillance cameras, monitors, and equipment * Install, moving and cleaning all company Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) equipment’s sound and video systems.
* Installation of new equipment and wires * Remove & replace CCTV equipment as needed * Must be on call 24-hours a day.
* Performs the duties of a Surveillance Observer * Observe and report on all areas under surveillance * Report and properly document all infractions and criminal activity * Identify cheating activities, undesirables, and other detrimental activity * Assure compliance with NIGC standards and Gaming Commission regulations * Perform other duties as assigned *MINIMUM QUALIFCATIONS:* * Physical ability to climb, crawl, and maneuver in tightly cramped areas without fear of heights * Must be able to handle weights in excess of 60 lbs.
* Basic and intermediate knowledge of diagnostics/repair of Related CCTV Equipment * Basic Knowledge of Fiber and Twisted pair * Strong computer skills including Microsoft word, Excel and Access, understanding of networks and computer repairs * Knowledge of support equipment.
Oscilloscope, NTSC generator, multi-meter, etc.
*EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:* * Dallmeier CCTV experience preferred * Scissor and Boom Lift certified preferred * Strong Electronics background and trouble shooting skills.
* Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices * Ability to write technical statements * Ability to read simple instructions and schematic diagrams * Ability to complete camera dome troubleshooting * Ability to repair CCTV equipment * Ability to perform assigned duties under frequent time pressure in a interruptive environment * Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent * Ability to sit for extended periods of time in a confined area * Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
*Must be able to obtain and maintain State and Tribal licensing certifications.
Any combination of experience and education that will allow the applicant to satisfactory perform the duties of the job may be considered when filling the position.
Must pass a pre-employment drug test, and background/fingerprint check.
All Gaming Commission employees are subject to random drug testing.
