*Objective of this role:*
Working as a three-man team, Solar Installers provide customers with the best installation available.
Solar Installers assemble and install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on roofs or other structures in compliance with site assessment and schematics.
May include measuring, cutting, assembling, and bolting structural framing, and solar modules.
*Responsibilities:*
* Work closely with and take direction and training from the Crew Leader
* Install and secure all safety equipment (ladders, and mats) before starting work
* Be fully prepared for work with all the proper tools
* Prepare the loading and unloading of materials on job sites
* Understand and perform the solar array layout
* Remove and reinstall roof tiles (notching where required)
* Install rails, racking, and modules
* Conduit bending and wiring
* Keep the job site clean and orderly at all times
* Keep company vehicles clean and maintained
* Act professionally and courteously when dealing with the public
* Keep track of and maintain company tools daily and report any lost, stolen, broken, defective or faulty tools
*Desired Qualifications:*
* NABCEP Entry Level
* Solar Experience
*Required Qualifications:*
* Clean Driving Record (valid license, no DUI in the last 5 years, and no more than one point on your driving record)
* Agility and grace in working on rooftops
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
* Work outdoors in extreme conditions
