DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Preconstruction Phase:
* Assist in coordinating and attending preconstruction meetings with stakeholders.
* Facilitate submittals, review them for accuracy and completeness, and ensure timely approvals.
* Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve any preconstruction issues.
Project Schedule Management:
* Develop and maintain project schedules, including critical milestones and deadlines.
* Monitor project progress against established schedules and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track.
RFIs and Submittal Tracking:
* Manage the Request for Information (RFI) process, ensuring timely resolution of project-related queries.
* Track and record all project submittals, approvals, and rejections, maintaining accurate documentation.
* Proactively identify situations where additional information or clarification is required during the construction process.
* Initiate the RFI process to address any ambiguities, discrepancies, or omissions in project plans, specifications, or other project-related documents.
Quality Control:
* Implement and enforce quality control standards throughout the construction process.
* Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with construction plans, specifications, and industry standards.
Change Order Management:
* Evaluate and process change orders, including reviewing cost implications and obtaining approvals from relevant stakeholders.
* Maintain clear records of change orders and their impact on the project budget and timeline.
Quantity Takeoff:
* Perform comprehensive quantity takeoffs to estimate materials and resources required for construction projects.
Project Plan Changes:
* Monitor and document changes to project plans, ensuring proper communication to all involved parties.
* Collaborate with project managers and other team members to adjust plans as necessary.
Document Management:
* Maintain accurate and organized project documents, both in Autodesk and the company's server.
* Ensure proper version control and access permissions for project-related documents.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
* Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline preferred
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
* Basic analytical ability to recognize patterns in data, information or events to draw logical conclusions and make recommendations for action.
* Knowledgeable in MS Office
* Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
* Ability to read, speak, and write in English required.
* Collaborative and Team Player
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
* Excellent project scheduling and time management skills.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.
00 - $65,000.
