We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager that can work as a integral component within EPX’s Energy Infrastructure construction business.
Projects will be in the Solar, Battery, Generator, EV Charging space and operate under Electrical and General Contracting licensure.
The Construction Manager will communicate with multiple stakeholders (customers, client, internal departments) to ensure the project is completed accurately and timely to job and customer specifications.
The Construction Manager is responsible for establishing the schedule and ensures that all milestones and deliverables are met through the life of the project.
The Construction Manager will handle multiple projects simultaneously at various stages of development and construction - projects could be located locally and regionally.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
Provide other work as necessary to assist permitting, proposals, and technical information aspects of solar system design and production
* Field-focused to develop and lead a team of roughly 45-50 installers
* Receive and scrub projects for completion and accuracy
* Coordination of installation schedules; management of staffing to ensure on time completion
* Coordination of permitting for projects
* Coordinate with development and engineering to develop preliminary design budget
* Perform regular check-ins with job superintendents to gauge project progress
* Serve as point-of-contact for customers/clients during each project
* Provide progress reports and other status updates to client and management as required
* Maintaining records and databases
* Troubleshooting issues relating to installations
* Work with and provide technical assistance to project coordinators, customers, and other departments as needed
* Maintain current knowledge of the NEC and all building codes applicable for proper solar, and electrical system designs
* Perform additional duties as assigned and/or directed
*Job Qualifications*
* Minimum 3 years solar project management experience including projects of at least 100 kW+
* Minimum 3 years previous experience in project management and/or construction operations
* Ability to use computer software and mobile applications
* Demonstrated flexibility and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Experience and understanding of Distributed Generation Solar projects
* Ideally experience with Battery Energy Storage Systems and Generators
* Solid understanding of Project Management process
* Demonstrated conflict-resolution skills, problem-solving abilities, and professional judgment.
* Good record-keeping and organizational skills
* Quick to overcome customer objections and solution oriented
* Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels in the company
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.
00 - $115,000.
