IT Specialist
Job Summary
The role of the IT Specialist is a full-time position and will provide technology support to Method
students, parents, and staff to ensure the smooth and continual use of technology resources.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
● Coordinate installation, maintenance, and support for existing and new servers,programs,
systems, and networks.
● Assist faculty and staff with professional technology-based computer hardware and
software inquiries.
○ Troubleshoot technology system and software
○ Ensure system updates on staff equipment
○ Provide regularly scheduled updates and configurations on staff equipment
○ Configure, install and maintain the network hardware and software of the school
○ Ensure the integrity of the network by continually updating network system security
to provide for latest protection against viruses and other types of network
vulnerabilities
● Keep an inventory of equipment, computers, software licenses, and other devices
● Account set up and maintenance
○ Google email
○ Slack
○ Zoom
○ Grasshopper
○ Microsoft
○ SmartFox login
○ Manage account staff accounts - will not enroll students - account set up and
closure
○ ADT
○ Frontier
● Facilities support
● Continuously develop new solutions to existing problems
● Commit to ongoing growth and development
● Utilize data to seek out challenges to address
Education and Experience
● Bachelor’s degree and/or 1-3 years in a similar role preferred
● IT Certification Required
● Experience in an academic environment
Other Requirements
● Must possess a valid Driver’s License
● Position is on-site in Murrieta, CA
● Ability to travel around our service area and to Oceanside office if needed
Annual Salary: $67,200
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,200.
