The plumbers at General Air Conditioning and Plumbing install and repair plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
They also install fixtures water heaters, and water filtration products in both residential and commercial properties.

*OBJECTIVES*
* ·Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures
* Fix and repair various household appliances
* Cut, weld, and assemble pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures
* Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
* Handle customer queries and respond to customer needs
* Troubleshoot and resolve problems
* Prepare cost estimates
* Other duties as assigned
* Read and interpret blueprints to assess or plan plumbing installations and layouts
*COMPETENCIES*
● Good working knowledge of water supply, waste, and ventilation systems
● Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools
● Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
● Good listening and communication skills
● Good interpersonal skills and patience
● Physical dexterity
*EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE*
● Trade school diploma or completed apprenticeship required
● Minimum 2 years plumbing experience
*PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*
● Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
● Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
● Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
● Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
● Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
