has an open position for a skilled, motivated, organized individual to work in our pump manufacturing facility.
This person will learn to assemble, build and repair high-pressure hydraulic pumps and other mechanical electrical systems related to our misting & fog solutions.
If you have experience using a variety of hand-tools, like to build things, and have great communication skills, we would love to provide you with technical training, product education, specific to this position.
Compensation will be based upon experience and ability to learn "on-the-job" quickly.
We are a growing, fast-paced environment, so we have a ton of "shop jobs" that will be performed daily including pump analysis, inventory, stocking, documentation, and more!
Minimum Qualifications:
* Experience with hand tools required
* Experience with motors, pumps, hoses, piping, fittings or other mechanical electrical experience a helpful
* Small voltage electrical experience helpful
* Construction background helpful
* Assembly experience with mechanical systems a plus
* Must be well organized and work well with job deadlines and time constraints
* Must have strong problem solving skills and be able to work independently
* Must be able to lift at least 50lbs, bend, and climb on ladders
* Must be able to climb and work upon ladders
* Must be able to bend, squat, and kneel
* Must have a valid California Drivers License
* Must have ability to take direction and execute with minimal supervision
* Must have ability to work closely with team, communicate and learn via hands-on training
Duties will include but are not limited to:
* Analyze instructions to build, maintain, and repair Koolfog products
* Maintain tools and tool inventories
* Document product and company products and processes
* Gain an understanding of shipping logistics and requirements.
* Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following defined safety practices
* Follow all company policies and procedures
* General office support (phone back-up) as necessary
* Shop maintenance and cleaning as necessary
* Follow all Koolfog Quality Assurance Guidelines
* Follow all Safety Guidelines
