Rangeline Tapping an affiliate of Rangeline Group offers a wide range of products, services, and expertise across the Nation in multiple service centers including Florida, Texas, Ohio, North Carolina, California and New Jersey.
As part of this growth, we have an opening for Entry Level Field Technician in our Murrieta, California location.
Our Field Technician position provides technical training in underground water and wastewater utilities, basic construction skills, and construction OSHA standards.
*Qualifications to be considered for this role:*
* Must be 21 over to apply.
* Must have a High school diploma/GED.
* Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
* Class A CDL (Preferred)
* Must be able to pass Pre-employment drug screening.
* Must be able to pass a DOT physical.
* Must have the ability to work in all weather conditions, indoor, outdoors, and in confined spaces.
* Must have the ability to travel during the workweek, emergencies, and weekends as needed.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Operation and maintenance on all tapping and line stopping equipment.
* Review and examine line and tap setup to ensure a new tap can be performed safely.
* Maintains all line stop/hot tap equipment and demonstrates the ability rebuild all equipment.
* Complies with all government rules and regulations, and company policies and procedures.
* Provides services in the most efficient manner possible while complying with cost estimates.
* Communicates and interacts with management, engineers, and co-workers.
* Operates industry related tools and equipment including forklift.
* Assist in the selection of appropriate hot tap and line stop fittings for field installations.
* Assist in Troubleshooting equipment and installation issues.
