Welder

We are looking for an entry level skilled Welder to cut and join metals and other materials at our warehouse facility in Temecula, CA.
You will operate appropriate equipment to put together mechanical structures or parts with a great deal of precision.
Every day we’ll rely on you to use potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions, have a steady hand and great attention to detail as well as knowledge of different kinds of metal and their properties is essential.
The pay rate will start at $16.
50 per hour and will increase based on experience in the following: · Reading blue prints and drawings and taking or reading measurements to plan layout and procedures.
· Determining the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirements.
· Setting up components for welding according to specifications (e.
g.
cut material with powered saws to match measurements.
) · Aligning components using calipers, rulers etc.
and clamp pieces.
· Welding components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical and horizontal) · Repairing machinery and other components by welding pieces and filling gaps.
· Testing and inspecting welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
