Summary The Preventative Maintenance (PM) Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance and cleaning of Gaming Devices, Redemption, JXC and Recycler Kiosks and all related peripheral equipment, including printers, bill validators, and signs.
The PM Technician will effectively communicate and report to the Slot Technical Supervisors.
Duties/Responsibilities Effectively communicate with all team members.
Expected to learn new gaming platforms and products as well as assisting others in the learning process.
Coordinate with and assist Sot Operations as requested.
Organize and prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision.
Maintain a high level of organization, including maintaining an orderly and neat work area and worksite, as well as organized work activities, with the highest levels of productivity in performing daily job tasks within the scheduled work day.
Act as a department champion, promoting the departments and company services and functions to other employees, other departments, vendors, applicants and others who visit the department and property.
Preventative maintenance on gaming devices, kiosks, peripheral equipment and signs.
Prepare gaming devices for shipment by removing all locks and communication system hardware.
Prepare gaming devices for installation by installing all locks and communication system hardware.
Troubleshooting, breakdown and repair of gaming devices, signs and peripherals as instructed.
Run data cable (fiber optic/CAT 6) for gaming devices and kiosks.
Participates in projects in a team environment by interpreting project documents, gathering necessary materials for the project, and assists in RAM clearing and optioning of project games.
Maintain personal tools and equipment necessary for position.
Operate a forklift, power tools, networking troubleshooting tools, electronic test equipment, and solder equipment.
Walk/stand and work 90% of shift and work in unfavorable conditions which can occasionally be hot and noisy, grasp, bend, reach, kneel, crawl, lift and /or carry tools/supplies.
Must be physically present to work a regular, reliable, and predictable work schedule in accordance with business demands, and maintain a consistent and regular attendance record.

Perform special projects and other responsibilities, tasks, or duties as requested.

Participate in open communication and provide feedback to management regarding operations, staffing, personal development, and operational productivity.
Serve as a contributing Team Member of the Soboba Band of Luiseño Indians enhancing SCR’s operations in all its business endeavors.
Education / Qualifications Must be 21 years of age, or older.
Any combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Must be able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the United States of America.
Certificates, licenses and registration Ability to obtain and maintain a valid Soboba Tribal Gaming Commission license.
Required to submit to and obtain negative results on all drug and/or alcohol testing.
