_*Pacifica Senior Living is looking for a great Maintenance Assistant to join our team!*_
Maintenance Assistant duties include but not limited to facilitating the successful physical community operations by performing repairs and maintenance (plumbing, painting, light electrical, light HVAC, etc.
) of the property that will promote a high sense of well-being and aesthetic appeal for residents, families, and staff.
This position will report to the Maintenance Director.
*Duties and Responsibilities:*
* Ensure completion of work orders.
* Assist with move-in/out details.
Prepare/repair rooms for resident use.
* Repair plumbing fixtures
* Repair electrical apparatus
* Repair appliances
* Maintain cleanliness and sanitary conditions in floors.
* Perform door removal and installation.
Repair door locks and make adjustments.
* Perform wall texturing, painting, wall repairs and wallpapering.
*Qualifications:*
* High School diploma or equivalent certificate and a degree or certificate from a two-year technical school program preferred.
* Must possess demonstrated success in a similar position.
* May be required to hold valid First Aid Certification and valid Driver’s License.
* Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Possess basic math solving skills.

* Monday- Friday
