*Company Description*
The Festival General Store is a full-service event retail company that specializes in creating unique and memorable general store experiences for events of all sizes while providing festival essentials to attendees.
*Role Description*
This is a temporary on-site role for a Cashier to work at Coachella music festival located in Indio, CA with The Festival General Stores.
The Cashier will be responsible for processing sales transactions, credit card payments, and providing excellent customer service.
The Cashier will also be responsible for maintaining an orderly and clean store environment along with restocking merchandise.
Cashiers will be working in a mobile store inside the venue or at our camping store located in the camping area selling general merchandise.
*Qualifications*
* Experience in customer service
* Basic math and Square POS skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Attention to detail and accuracy in credit card payments
* Experience in retail or hospitality industry is a plus
*Weekend 1* dates; April 11-14 (Thursday-Sunday.
) *Weekend 2* dates; April 18-21 (Thursday-Sunday.
)
Shifts will range from 5-8 hours a day Friday-Sunday and an approximate 2 hour training period on Thursday.
*\**Must be available for the whole duration of the Thursday-Sunday based on the weekend you select on the application provided below.
We are looking for experienced cashiers preferably someone who has used Square POS systems, is outgoing and vocal, great customer service skills, a team player, and can work in a fast paced environment.
Cashiers who are successful at this show will be invited back to work other music festivals with us and have priority for the following Coachella.
