New to the area, previously lived in London for half my life and am originally from the East Coast.
I had several bands in the UK where I was the singer/ songwriter, recording artist, and front woman.
Have decided that the time has come to start a new project, recording and live, and am looking for someone to collaborate with who complements my gifts and abilities.
My feeling is that a songwriting/ recording/ performing duo situation would be ideal but I am open to what the universe brings in with the tide.
I have been blessed with the gift of the golden voice, and am a true contralto.
I have a talent for writing words and melodies.
I am also a writer of prose.
I have only a little in the way of musicianship and production knowledge.
I work best with a person who is a good all around musician and songwriter who knows his way around the studio.
Would be great if you can also sing so we can explore harmony but this is by no means necessary.
I am interested more in a songwriting partner who would be willing and interested to lend support to my talents and write new material together.
Not so much interested in singing old songs that you have written, but happy to experiment together.
