Hi, my name is James and I'm an intermediate guitar player looking to play instrumentals.
Found a drummer, looking for a bassist.
I play a lot of what might be classified as instrumental surf-rock, but not really traditional surf music.
Some of the bands whose songs I play are Shadowy Men on a Shadowy Planet, The Ventures, Link Wray, Atomic 7, etc.
I have never been in a band and want to get out of the bedroom and play with other real musicians.
I would like to start by playing covers and then maybe try coming up with some originals.
I'm very easy going, and in my mid-50s if that matters.
I'm not worried about your age or skill level as long as you like this type of music and want to play it.
I'd like to get together and play at least once a week.
I'm pretty free on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and live in Winchester, near Temecula.
The drummer has an awesome space set up at his house in Lake Elsinore where we can play.
