Responsibilities:
Assist in creating and executing company incentive programs for employees.
Optimize profits by controlling food, beverage, and labor costs.
Maintain an overall positive management style.
Provide leadership and direction to all team members to ensure efficient job operations.
Assist in overall quality assurance.
Prepare and present in hourly team member reviews.
Complete all tasks assigned by owner and General Manager in a timely fashion.
Ensuring incoming staff complies with company policy
Training staff to follow restaurant procedures
Maintaining safety and food quality standards
Keeping customers happy and handling complaints
Organizing schedules
Keeping track of employees' hours
Recording payroll data
Ordering food, linens, gloves and other supplies while staying within budget limitations
Required/Preferred Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Has strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in a restaurant.
Highly motivated and able to motivate others.
Energetic, dependable, and timely.
Other Requirements:
Cook experience, or willing to learn to cook to assist in the kitchen as required.
Performs a variety of tasks.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Must be 21 years of age, with a minimum of 2 years of restaurant experience.
Passion for the restaurant business and compassion for people.
Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
Ability to recruit, develop, and motivate team members.
Flexibility.
Must be able to create fun in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Must be able to lift approximately 40 lbs.
