Free care giving, in exchange for a place to stay.
The last 10 years I’ve been living with a friend.
He just needed a hand once in a while.
He much preferred living at home, rather than an assisted living place.
I’m in okay shape, but not good enough to work full time.
(During the day I use an air cleaner, & at night I sleep with an open window.
) (I would like to try and start an AA meeting in the Palm Springs area, one where the money is taken care of bye clergy/the church.
) I have 30 years sobriety.
(My friend bought a cheap heater and it seems to be taking a terrible toll.
So, I am looking around to try and be ready for the worst, while still hoping for the best.
