Groundsman with CDL

*GROUNDMAN WITH CDL* *Position Description* Ground personnel are essential to the crew as they assist the foremen, climbers, fellers, and control the work site; all while interacting with the public.
The Groundsman reports directly to the Crew Foreman and General Foreman.
*Position Requirements* * Proper use of PPE * Current driver’s license: Commercial Driver's License required * Driving skills and vehicle safety including how to perform a pre-trip inspection * Job planning and preparation * Working knowledge of all job site tools and equipment * Completion of TCIA EHAP and Aerial Rescue training course.
* First Aid / CPR Trained * Proficient in chipper operation and safety devices * Proficient in chipper / vehicle hookup * Understanding how to properly position a chipper * Proficient in chipper inspection and basic maintenance * Demonstrate the ability to operate a winch * Functional rigging knowledge, including practical application and inspection *Education:* * High School Diploma (preferred) * Bi-lingual (preferred) * First Aid and CPR Trained (required) * EHAP Trained (required) * CDL (required) * Physically fit for the job (required) Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.
