We have the following position at our Palm Desert, Yucca Valley and Coachella divisions:* *COMMERCIAL DRIVER* Collects material from containers and dumps into truck, on a designated route.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES:* * Drive truck within a designated route.
* Collect refuse or recyclable materials by operating hoisting device that raises container into truck.
* Sporadically pull/push containers to ensure proper retrieval * Transport load to disposal area.
* Communicate with dispatch on an ongoing basis * Complete pre and post trip inspection.
* Maintain good customer relations and maintain cleanliness of vehicle at all times * Will climb in/out of truck on a continual basis * Performs other duties as assigned by management.

*KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:* * Must have a valid Class "A" California Commercial Driver’s License with no air brake restrictions.
*This position requires the review of motor vehicle records (MVRs) prior to or during consideration of application as well as ongoing review through California’s Electronic Pull Notice (EPN) Program.
* * Be able to communicate in English.
* Ability to understand and complete route sheets and dispatch tickets.
* Clean driving record.
* Ability to follow instructions *TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:* * Must have one (1) year of Commercial driving experience, required.
*PHYSICAL:* * Must have ability to operate a truck and continuously maneuver joy stick.
* Must be able to sit for long periods and have ability to lift, push and pull sporadically up to 40 lbs.
