Job Description:
Eagle Falls Golf Course Beverage Cart Cashier/Attendant are expected to deliver truly great service, and to create a warm and friendly atmosphere for our guests.
The cashier/attendant is the only food & beverage employee that guests encounter when playing on the golf course so it is imperative that they greet all guests with a warm/genuine smile and welcome.
Beverage Cart employees must work well as a team, maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and gaming regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include: Provides fast, friendly, professional and responsive customer service to beverage cart guests and golf course staff.
Engages in friendly conversations with guests whenever possible using the 10/5 rule: 10 feet-make eye contact and smile, 5 feet-greet and speak to guest.
Greets each guest with a warm smile and welcome as they approach the beverage cart.
Operates a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change; accounts for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintains integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
Drives the beverage cart in a professional, courteous, safe and controlled manner at all times keeping focused so that there are no opportunities for accidents.
Follows all established cart paths, rights of way, and golf course etiquette as outlined by the Eagle Falls Golf Course management team.
Thanks customers, invites them back, wishes them luck and makes it easy for them to get back in play.
Responsible for bussing, cleaning and maintaining the beverage cart, its food and storage compartments, and all surfaces and components of the cart including the interior and exterior.
Knows all menu items and can answer any reasonable questions asked by guests with regard to food and beverage products, preparation style, portion sizes, main ingredients, sauce descriptions, etc.
Maintains the food items in the Beverage Cart keeping all shelves, food display areas, work stations and counters clean, wiped down, sanitized, organized and presentable.
Stocks all paper goods, condiment dispensers, beverages, food products, storage compartments, service stations and beverage cart storage facility according to established standards and guidelines.
Assists in other food & beverage outlets as determined/requested by food & beverage management.
Knows and promotes current casino events and programs and can give guests directions to all casino areas.

Job Requirements: Must be 21 years of age.
High school diploma, GED/equivalent.
Previous cashiering experience in a high volume, restaurant preferred.
Read, write, speak and understand English.
Must have an acceptable DMV record with supporting documentation.
Must pass an Eagle Falls Golf Course Golf Cart Safety Driving program as outlined by the Director of Golf.
Should understand the basics with regards to the game of Golf so they can engage in casual conversation with Golf Course Snack Bar patrons.
Must know and follow all safe food service, food handling, food storage, and sanitation rules, regulations, policies and procedures to ensure quality of product in a consistent manner.
Must be familiar with food items served in respective outlet and be able to answer guest questions and offer recommendations based on guests’ preferences.
Excellent customer service/communication skills Available to work required schedule which may include weekends, holidays and overtime as needed.
Must be physically mobile with reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to reach above and below the shoulder, grip small items (i.
e.
, flatware, plates, cups, glasses), bend, stoop and twist while carrying restaurant stock to and from supply areas able to reach across tables; able to stand and walk for up to 6 hours; able to use hand motions when cleaning and wiping counters and table tops.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
(Cash drawer, cash register/POS supplies, tables and chairs).
Must be able to pull or push 50 lbs.
(Tables and chairs as required to provide appropriate seating arrangements for customers) Work Environment: Employees working the Casino or Bowling Center may be exposed to second-hand smoke and moderate levels of noise.
