THE BANK HAS A CAST IRON FRAME WITH WOODEN AND TIN SIDES, THE BOTTOM AND TOP ARE BOTH STEEL, AND THE BANK IS DATED IN 3 PLACES.

I looked online and the first battery operated toys came out about 1910, so this has got to be one of the first battery operated toys on the market.

The bank measures 5" High by 4" Wide by 6 1/2" in size.

and would look great in any still bank collection.

The bank shows the original chipping of the paint, and is in great shape with the exception that the battery cover is missing.
