THIS OLD CERAMIC TRAY WITH COVER WAS HAND PAINTED YEARS AGO, AND IS DECORATED WITH GOLD HIGHLIGHTS AND LOOKS TO HAVE BEEN PRODUCED IN THE NAKAJIMA KILN which would date it from 1900 thru 1921.

As nice and as rare as this piece is, I do see a small chip under the cover, but since it's under the cover, you can't see it.
