We have been farming our vineyards since 1984 and are a real working winery, growing and producing over 20 estate grown varietals within certified sustainable facilities.

Summary:
The Senior Accountant/Corporate Administrator will assist in various month-end accounting tasks, preparing consolidated financial reports, various corporate administrative compliance tasks, and other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager and Controller for up to seven separate entities.
Compensation: $60,000 - $75,000 DOE

Schedule:
30-40 hours per week, Monday - Friday during normal business hours
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting and administrative tasks, as assigned.
Compiling and analyzing consolidated financial reports in Excel.
Compiling and electronically organizing various business records and documents for multiple entities.
Perform variance analyses and prepare account reconciliations.
Running ad-hoc reports from accounting software and multiple POS systems.
Preparing journal entries and assisting with month-end closing.
Calculating commissions and tip distributions, as needed.
Review of payroll, accounts payable, and POS reports to locate anomalies.
Compiling financial information for preparation of tax returns.
Preparing financial reports for annual financial review and responding to related inquiries from CPA.
Working and following up with departmental managers on various accounting matters.
Assist with benchmarking wage rates for all positions.
Updating financial data for and assisting with preparation of Annual and Semi-Annual Investor Reports.
Assist with preparing withholding tax returns for investors.
Updating schedules and values of assets for insurance renewals.
Updating and/or creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for various accounting functions, as needed.
Providing administrative assistance, such as writing and editing emails, drafting memos, and preparing communications on Controller’s behalf.
Responding to various administrative and accounting requests from Controller.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Highly detail-oriented and organized.
Confidentiality is a must.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with Advanced Excel.
Strong written communication skills.
Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Familiarity with accounting software, Quickbooks preferred.
Proficient with ADP WorkForceNow platform preferred.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting, MBA preferred.
Minimum 2 years of related experience required.
Advanced Excel skills.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
