*Job Description Summary* Provides clerical and administrative support to the Executive Director of Tribal Administration in relation to ACBCI charitable gift program.
*Education and/or Experience* * High school diploma or GED.
* A minimum of 3 years experience at an Administrative Assistant level or higher or any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
* Must have good PC skills with intermediate ability to use MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project * Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.
Ability to relate to all levels of management, Tribal Membership, visitors and employees in verbal/written form.
* Ability to organize/prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision and multiple interruptions.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities *(other duties may be assigned) * Produce and edit a wide range of documents using a variety of software.
Copy, distribute and file as required, while maintaining a professional and secure work station.
* Assists in the presentation of funding recommendations for approval or denial.
* Draft internal and external communication relating to grant and contribution requests.
* Assists in the tracking and reporting of the ACBCI charitable gift program.
* Provide excellent guest service.
* Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the ACCRS and SRC System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures.
*Supervisory Responsibilities* None *Access to Sensitive Areas and Information* Confidential Information as it pertains to the ACBCI government grant and contribution programs *Signatory Ability* None *Working Conditions/Physical Demands* To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 ½ mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift.
Must be able to work in a smoke filled environment.
Typically the individual will be housed in an office environment.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment.
Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs.
on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
