SUMMARY:
We are looking to expand our existing Asphalt/ Sealcoat Maintenance Crew with continued focus on client satisfaction and integrity of work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & QUALIFICATIONS:
Physical labor; working with all tools and materials related to asphalt and sealcoat, concrete is a plus
Ability to properly and safely use shovels, rakes, lutes, squeegees, wands, small hand tools, and brooms
Supporting Foreman, Superintendent and crew members
Loading and unloading work trucks with appropriate tools and materials related to current job
Transporting rakes, lutes, shovels, cones, equipment and materials; make sure same tools and equipment make it back to the yard
Routine maintenance of business yard, equipment, tools, work trucks
Preparation of job site and surfaces using push brooms and power blowers to eliminate potential hazards
Assist in securing the job site with placement of barricades, cones, delineators and other traffic control
Maintain a clean job site each day by disposing of all trash, hazards and loading of all tools upon completion
Signal operators of heavy equipment to facilitate movement of materials
Perform other duties as assigned by crew Foreman and/ or Superintendent
Properly follow all company policies and OSHA regulations for safe working procedures and environment
Arrive at yard and/ or job at scheduled time
If certified, responsible for loading and unloading equipment
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 2 years labor experience in asphalt and sealcoat, concrete experience is a plus
Knowledge in all aspects of asphalt removal, installation, patching and asphalt maintenance
Knowledge in all aspects of sealcoat application, crackfill, and sealcoat maintenance
Knowledge of industry related heavy equipment and working along side it
Experienced equipment operation is a plus; including skid steer and roller
High school diploma or G.

Possess a valid drivers license
Reliable transportation to yard and/ or job site
WORKING QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to lift heavy objects; at least 50 lbs
Walk and stand for long periods of time
Perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
Be willing to work overtime when necessary
Be punctual and reliable
Must have strong work ethic
Ability to work in a team setting
Communication skills; ability to communicate with Superintendent, Foreman, crew members, contractors and general public
