Delivery Driver/Warehousing Position **LOCAL & YEAR-ROUND** (Thousand Palms)

A leader in the wholesale deli meat industry is seeking a career-oriented, skilled employee for our full-time Delivery Driver/Warehousing position based in the Palm Springs area.

This position requires working in a refrigerated environment and on weekends, so flexibility is a must.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (others may be assigned) • Working in our walk-in cooler (refrigerated environment) to pull, process & box customer’s orders for delivery • Off-load weekly delivery to Warehouse • Ensure walk in cooler and back storage area clean and organized, with the correct BIN numbers, and properly rotated • Load truck for delivery • Daily inspection of Vehicle.
Fill out a daily inspection report • Report any vehicle malfunctions or issues to supervisor • Maintain a proper temperature of the product at all times • Upon delivery, rotate product into customers walk-in cooler or deli case.
Ensure product is put under refrigeration.
Make sure refrigeration is between 30-40 degrees • Check-in delivery with customers upon delivery.
Have customer confirm delivery with signature, stamp, or customer's receiver invoice.
Requirements: • Open availability/able to work a flexible schedule • Weekend work is MANDATORY • Minimum of one-year relevant experience • Forklift experience/certification preferred but will train • Must be reliable, punctual and professional • Must be at least 24 years old with a Class C license and have clean driving record Compensation/Benefits: • $18 - 20/hr.
