Delivery/Warehouse Associate
Description
* Work with our team in gathering, assembling/preparing as necessary, and delivering outdoor living and hardware products including patio furniture, grills, heaters and other related items.
* Provide outstanding customer service, answering customer questions regarding outdoor living products, including patio furniture, umbrellas, grills and related outdoor lifestyle accessories that are being delivered or may be available for delivery.
* Work professionally and respectfully when delivering items to customer homes.
* Work efficiently making good use of time and resources with limited supervision.
* Document sales and delivery records by creating or updating customer profiles and information.
* Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
* Assist in the maintenance of store, including merchandising, cleaning, cart collection and other tasks to keep our store clean, safe and presentable.
* Alert management of potential safety or security issues.
Skills
* Good Knowledge, understanding and ability to communicate with customers regarding outdoor living products, including patio furniture, umbrellas, grills and related outdoor lifestyle accessories.
* Clean driving record with ability to comfortably safely drive and maneuver delivery vehicles including vans and box vans.
Our insurance requires a minimum age of 25 years old to be covered under our insurance policy.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Detail oriented and highly observant.
* Very customer oriented with a good attitude.
* Ability to prioritize tasks and process multiple duties simultaneously while working in a dynamic retail environment.
* Possesses strong mathematical skills.
* Friendly with integrity and sincerity.
* Ability to stay positive and maintain professional demeanor in high stress situations.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds or more on a fairly regular basis (frequently throughout a workday), following safety protocols and using equipment as appropriate when lifting/moving heavy or bulky items.
