Job Summary: The Credit Analyst assesses the creditworthiness of customers, establishes credit limits, and monitors payment behavior.
This role involves analyzing financial data, collaborating with sales teams, and ensuring credit policies are followed.
Duties/Responsibilities: Evaluate customer credit applications and financial statements.
Establish and monitor credit limits for customers.
Collaborate with sales teams to assess credit risks for new and existing customers.
Analyze payment trends and recommend changes to credit limits.
Communicate credit decisions to relevant stakeholders.
Investigate and resolve customer credit issues.
Required Skills/Abilities: Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
Knowledge of credit risk assessment principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in financial software and Excel.
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years of experience in credit analysis.
Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
