Overview: The Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible forthe financial processing of transactions for Acrisure Arena and the Firebirds Hockey Team.
Their duties include daily bookkeeping and record keeping, financial reporting and the preparation of tax records for financial audits.
This position is responsible for tracking and paying bills and invoices on a daily basis and is a part of the Financial/Accounting Team.
Multiple Financial Platforms are used in this role.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $24 to $27.
This Position is Non Exempt.

About the Venue: About Acrisure Arena: America’s hottest music festival destination is finally getting the world-class arena it deserves.
Having opened December 2022, the Acrisure Arena will provide the greater Palm Springs area of Southern California with a premiere 10,000+ seat venue to host the biggest artists and acts on the planet.
Designed specifically for hockey and concerts, the new arena will provide top-tier hospitality, artist amenities, and all of the benefits of a modern music and sports venue.
In addition, the facility will serve as the new home of the American Hockey League affiliate of the Seattle Kraken, the Coachella Valley Firebirds.
The Acrisure Arena is a $300+ million project that is being 100% privately funded through outstanding partners Oak View Group, Live Nation, and the NHL Seattle.

As the newest addition to the Pacific Division in the Western Conference, this team continues to prepare for its first puck drop in the 22-23 AHL season.
In addition to the development of a new state of the art facility (Acrisure Arena) OVG is consecutively building their front office headquarters and community ice rink adjacent to the Arena, with one NHL regulation rink.
This development represents not only further investment in making Coachella Valley the epicenter of Southern California but establishing a new skating presence within the region for the first time.
Responsibilities: Duties/ Responsibilities: Create and maintain robust controls within paperless environment.
Process staff expenses daily Process Corporate cards daily Process invoices daily Make sure expenses and invoices are approved in a timely fashion.
Make weekly payments run for all expenses and invoices.
Ensuring a smooth invoicing process Supporting the general accounting function Working in a fast-paced accounting environment Qualifications: Requirements 2-3 + years of an accounts payable experience, preferably in a global organization.
Demonstrate experience of creating and maintaining long-term relationship with suppliers.
Excellent communication skills.
Analytical skills.
Attention to details.
Control oriented mindset.
Experience with NetSuite, Expensify, Tipalti and/or Concur preferred.
