Cathy Ann Helmstadter & Associates, CPA's is looking to hire a full time tax accountant as well as a seasonal tax accountant.

*Job Description*
- Prepare tax returns for Individuals, Partnerships, LLC's and C and S Corporations and gather necessary financial date to accurately complete returns and projects.
- Conduct tax research when necessary to ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Accounting and bookkeeping knowledge for use with Trial balance programs, Quickbooks and Quickbooks online
- Prepare compliance returns for sales tax, 1099's and personal property tax reporting and other miscellaneous forms.
- Special projects, when needed for tax and accounting engagement
*Requirements*
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- CPA certification, Enrolled Agent or Seasoned experienced tax professional
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in financial services software such as Excel, Word, QuickBooks and Quickbooks online
- Experience in account reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation for business return preparation
- Ability to interpret Balance Sheets and Income Statements
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong writing and communication skills to effectively interact and correspond with clients and governmental agencies
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Pay: $30.
00 - $50.
