Bookkeeper/Tax Accountant (Rancho Mirage)

Our work environment includes: Modern office setting Food provided Modern office setting Responsibilities: - Prepare and review individual and business tax returns accurately and efficiently - Provide exceptional customer service to clients by answering their tax-related questions and addressing any concerns - Stay up-to-date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance in tax preparation - Utilize accounting software and tools to accurately calculate deductions, credits, and refunds - Perform general ledger reconciliation and account reconciliation for accurate financial reporting - Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tax returns Experience: - Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Tax Preparer or in a similar role - Proficiency in Quicken, accounting software, and other relevant tools for tax preparation - Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and technical accounting principles - Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting - Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
