As our accounting clerk, we will rely on you to apply your high level of reliability, precision, and attention to detail to ensure our company stays in good financial shape.
*Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* * Track, process and document various financial transactions for multiple accounts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
* Compare expenditure documents with accounts payable invoices as needed to verify accuracy, reconcile discrepancies and initiate payments.
* Act as a timekeeping officer by tracking hours worked * Assist in managing the general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, and project accounting; ensure that all invoices and transactions are entered in a prompt and accurate manner.
* Review and reconcile financial statements on a monthly basis; ensure that records are complete, accurate and up-to-date.
* Track both the accounts payable and accounts receivable for the company by performing any necessary data entry and report generation, and preparing monthly reports on the status of accounts.
* Generate weekly sales reports and other information as needed to track company revenues and growth.
* Maintain a filing system for financial information, records and documents to ensure easily available information.
* Research information to provide accurate and timely information to the team, clients and vendors regarding all aspects of the accounting department * Promote good welfare among the company and its’ divisions *Key Ingredients Required:* * Competencies in relationship building, strategic thinking, and being extremely detail oriented * Excellent communication and negotiation skills; ability to interact with people of varying backgrounds, technical abilities, languages, and cultures; must be able to read and write effectively in English at a business-professional level.
